Senior Machine Learning Engineer / LLMs

We're currently working with a large pharmaceutical company's Data Innovation Lab to improve their internal recommendation engines so they can provide better discounts and offers to their clients. They're looking for a talented machine learning engineer with expertise developing and testing original models and working with recommendation engine algorithms.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in developing machine learning models, preferably in recommendation systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid recommendation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for recommendation systems.
  • Analyze user data to identify patterns and trends that can inform model development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate recommendation engines into our platform.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in machine learning and recommendation algorithms.
