DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are a health tech company located in Toronto, and we are now seeking a potential candidate to join our DevOps team as a full-time DevOps Engineer. Our company is AWS-focused, using Terraform and Kubernetes for deployment.

In this role, you will have the chance to shape and lead the next generation of cloud infrastructure in a cutting-edge, AWS-focused environment. At our company, you won’t just be maintaining systems; you’ll be innovating them. Working with advanced tools, you’ll not only drive impactful solutions for our cloud infrastructure but also gain direct exposure to new technologies, hands-on projects, and leadership opportunities within a dynamic DevOps team.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer or in a similar role

- Strong experience in designing, transitioning infrastructure in AWS, Azure or GCP cloud environments.

- Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform or Cloudformation.

- Proficient in setting up containers using Kubernetes, ECS and EKS.

- Skilled in configuration management using Ansible, Chef or Puppet.

- Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch, using Jenkins, GitHub or Gitlab.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

- Proficient in scripting languages commonly used for DevOps automation, including Python, Bash, PowerShell.

- Experienced in managing infrastructure for web applications and services built with Java

- Skilled in automating the deployment of mobile applications to the App Store and Google Play
