Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description
We are a global fintech company located in GTA, and we are now seeking a potential candidate to join our DevOps team as a senior DevOps engineer. Our company specializes in GCP cloud environment, using Terraform, Kubernetes and Ansible to manage and optimize infrastructure.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and enhance and support infrastructure on GCP. You'll use your DevOps expertise to automate workflows, maintain high availability, and continuously improve our environment. At our company, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and security professionals to optimize operations and security.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong background in designing, implementing infrastructure in GCP cloud environments.
• Experience integrating and deploying CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub or Gitlab.
• Skilled in setting up containers using Kubernetes.
• Proficient in managing infrastructure as code using Terraform or any other similar tools.
• Experience in configuration management using Ansible or Chef.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proficient in scripting languages commonly used for DevOps automation, including Bash and Python.
• Previous experience working in a finance environment
• Holding a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
