Senior Data Scientist (Python, R, SQL, and AWS / Hybrid / Northern Virginia)

A dedicated producer of global energy is looking for a Senior Data Scientist. Located in Northern Virginia, you will be advancing the development of an automated electricity market bidding platform, utilizing simulation tools, forecasting methods, and data-driven optimization algorithms in Python. An extensive technical understanding of Python, R, SQL, and AWS is needed. The goal is to enhance company's software capabilities and supporting new product developments in automated power system optimization. Looking for candidates that are at a principal-level in their careers and have energy experience (lithium, ion, or battery). The position is full-time and hybrid.
Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s or Ph. D in Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 5+ years of Python, R, SQL, and AWS
• 3+ years of energy experience
