This company is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join their technology team. The role involves building and maintaining enterprise-level applications that support the airline's operations and customer services. Ideal candidates should have expertise in Java, Spring frameworks, and cloud-based solutions, along with a commitment to innovation and collaboration.
- A degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Framework, REST/Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and full-stack development. Experience with tools like Maven, Git, Junit, and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies, Agile workflows, object-oriented design principles, and cloud-based solutions.
- Web servers (Tomcat, WebSphere), messaging systems (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ), Redis Cache, and Linux/Unix scripting.
- At least six years of hands-on involvement in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), focusing on building and deploying large-scale applications.
- More than two years of practical experience with Kubernetes, with solid knowledge of container orchestration and distributed systems principles.
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level applications using Java and related technologies.
- Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Develop cloud-native applications and manage containerized deployments with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA, to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in Agile workflows, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, testable code, adhering to best practices in TDD/BDD.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Enhance application performance using tools like Redis Cache and Elastic Search.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
