Contract Duration: 18 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 4+ years of Java experience
  • 4+ years of experience writing Microsoft SQL Server relational database queries, stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
  • 4+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
  • 4+ years of experience with Agile in a development environment
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of Autosys experience
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline, GitHub, UDeploy
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript.
  • Experience leading projects that require integration of multiple technology systems to deliver new online functionality and user experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: leading and designing conceptual, logical and physical architecture.
  • Experience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Build integrations for other systems.
  • Will work with DCI activities, making sure all technology is up to date and regulation.
  • Will be doing support related to that in addition to engineering in Java.
  • Part of a team of 6.
  • Anything tied to Java is tied to this person and the team lead, support is distributed amongst the team members.
  • Sprint planning is every 2 weeks.
  • Will take on work every time something critical is needed to be done.
  • Shouldn’t have to be assigned work, should be seeking it out.
  • Will also be handling tickets when required, addressing a ticket could last multiple sprint cycles.
  • Do requirement gathering, enhance the requirements within the Jira stories, execute on them, develop and test.
  • Support UAT and production implementation.
