Cyber Security Engineer / Splunk

Job Description

A retail company is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their dynamic Infrastructure Engineering team, which includes network, systems, and security engineers. This team plays a pivotal role in implementing and securing complex technology solutions across the organization. As a key player in the security engineering discipline, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security controls that protect their infrastructure, applications, and data.

This role is on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of security engineering
• Experience with Splunk
• Proficiency in security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, PCI, HIPAA).
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto), identity management (e.g., Okta, Azure AD), and security monitoring (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, specifically Terraform and HashiCorp Vault.
• Strong understanding of system and network security, with expertise in both Windows and Linux environments.
