Exciting Legal Process Analyst opportunity with an established firm. 
Our client has an immediate opening for a full-time Contract Paralegal to assist our client’s legal team, with a primary focus on receiving, organizing, and responding to legal process on behalf of the company. Our team needs a motivated, reliable, and organized self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and be part of a growing company.
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 1-2+ years prior experience working on legal matters in a legal assistant/paralegal role, preferably in an in-house setting, or a paralegal certificate
  • Excellent writing abilities
  • Possess superior attention to detail and ability to follow through with tasks
  • Familiarity with financial services and legal process, orders, and requests
  • Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to track deadlines, partner with the cross-functional partners to obtain relevant information, and project manage/meet time-sensitive deadlines to respond to all legal process served on the Company
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
  •  Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple requests across various departments and subject matter areas
  •  Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle time-sensitive requests
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and G-Suite Experience in editing and proofreading
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and self-starting – you are eager to roll up your sleeves and get things done and work on a wide variety of projects and legal matters
  • Experience coordinating and driving legal projects to successful completion
Desired Skills & Experience
Proficiency with Jira, Google Workspace, Adobe, Slack Familiarity with civil procedure


What You Will Be Doing
  • Intake subpoenas, law enforcement requests, levies, garnishments, demand letters, and other legal process and inquiries, and timely respond to the same, at the direction of the Senior Paralegal and/or our Client’s attorneys
  • Professionally interact with law enforcement and third party law firms to process subpoenas and other legal requests
  • Coordinate with other departments to obtain customer documents and ensure delivery of important documents and notices
  • Assist the paralegal team in the maintenance of the legal process tracking system
  • Organize and facilitate meetings as necessary (e.g., creating agendas, taking notes and action items, drafting correspondence, and following up to see action items through to completion)
  • Handle confidential/sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism at all times
  • Work closely with our client’s attorneys on our client’s-related meetings, initiatives, and projects
