C&I Engineer Test

Position Title: C&I Engineer
Position Duties: Perform pre-commission, commissioning, integration, maintenance and upgrades to LTE CDMA and 5G cell site equipment and auxiliary equipment. Create Site Configuration Files (SCF) for cell site RAN commissioning. Remotely load SCFs or support third party field teams with loading of SCFs onto cell site RAN equipment. Responsible for equipment powering up, testing and tunning in a standalone environment. Ensure cell sites are connected to the network and integrated to become a functional part of network. Ensure the new telecom hardware is connected to the network and integrated into cell sites. Ensure seamless end-to-end cell sites testing, support and ownership from cell site network planning phases to cell sites acceptance and delivery. Act as single point-of-contact for integration, commissioning, and acceptance issues. Support field teams to troubleshoot configuration and performance issues to achieve connectivity success. Work may be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Some work from home is available.

Work Location: 1890 Preston White Dr, Suite 150, Reston, VA 20191

Rate of Pay: $163,030.00

Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience as a C&I Engineering professional or substantially similar position.
Special Skill Requirements: Must have two (2) years of experience with the following: 5G RAN; LTE RAN; CDMA RAN Technology; UNIX; LINUX OS; Python Scripting; and C or C++ scripting with Ericsson OEM equipment.
