The company is seeking a software engineer to join its team, focusing on developing and maintaining robust software solutions to support its aviation services. The role involves designing, testing, and deploying applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing system efficiency to meet the dynamic needs of the industry.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, or C#. Experience with modern frameworks, databases, and APIs.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and create innovative solutions that enhance system performance and user experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with software systems used in the aviation industry, such as flight operations, FBO management, or maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with cloud-native application development.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with data visualization tools, machine learning, or predictive analytics to enhance operational insights.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and aviation industry compliance standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications to support aviation services, including internal tools and customer-facing platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with existing systems and ensure seamless functionality.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain system reliability.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements, understand workflows, and deliver effective software solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, process enhancements, or the introduction of new technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and system updates.
- Monitor software performance, apply updates, and provide ongoing technical support as needed.
