They are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join their agile software development team. Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a focus on enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong understanding of database systems, both relational and non-relational (e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java-based applications and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and UX design, to deliver robust solutions.
- Lead the development of enterprise-level software, ensuring code quality and system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in architectural design and code reviews to maintain high development standards.
- Integrate third-party APIs and systems to enhance application functionality.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for best practices.
