Required Skills & Experience:
- At least 7 years of software development experience, particularly in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in languages and technologies such as JavaScript, React, SQL, and AWS.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing microservices-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate across teams.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Exposure to Python is a huge plus. Any other Open Source, Back End experience is fine as long as you’re open to learning/using Python.
- Knowledge of best practices in software design and development.
- A proactive approach to identifying technical debt and implementing solutions.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality development and delivery.
- Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
- Developing and implementing software solutions that adhere to best practices and quality standards.
- Conducting code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure reliability.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to their professional growth.
Tech Breakdown:
- 70% Front End Development
- 30% Backend Development
Daily Responsibilities:
- Mentorship of more junior developers
- Architectural design strategy and implementation
- Meetings with business stakeholders for application development and integration
