In terms of project specifics, the software engineering team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology to enhance digital and live-streaming products. They are currently seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and user experience across diverse platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with technical and business teams, contributing to test planning, development, and maintenance, while working in a dynamic and highly creative environment alongside a team of talented, passionate, and successful individuals.
Senior QA Engineer Responsibilities:
- Utilize technical expertise to create, execute, and maintain software test cases for one or more product components or features.
- Validate that the functionality of digital and physical products aligns with specified requirements.
- Generate detailed bug reports for defects identified during testing.
- Deploy the latest code for multiple services to test environments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including Design, Product, and Engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Four to six years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of the software development process.
- Familiarity with software-testing techniques and the software-testing life cycle.
- Experience testing services and technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize individual workload to meet deadlines.
- Experience testing point-of-sale systems and kitchen display systems.
- Experience setting up and testing hardware, including tablets, card readers, scanners, and printers.
- Extensive experience in writing test cases.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Github.
Interview Expectations:
- Two separate 30-minute interviews with the Head of Product and the Head of Engineering.
- Possibly an additional interview with the Senior Vice President.
Location Requirement: Candidates must be based locally in Los Angeles, CA.
