Our client is actively seeking an accomplished and highly specialized IT Director with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity, SOC2, and NIST frameworks to join our rapidly growing company. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to fortify our cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with industry standards, including collaborating with our parent company. The IT Director position will play a crucial role in steering the company towards robust cybersecurity practices, making an immediate impact on daily operations and a lasting contribution to our overall growth.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough analyses of departmental needs, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy in business decision making.
• Ensure seamless integration of network and software components to meet business needs, staying abreast of new features and competitor solutions, while aligning with corporate cybersecurity strategies.
• Continuously assess processes, technologies, and vendors for areas of improvement.
• Prepare cost–benefit analyses for necessary upgrades, monitoring vendors to ensure optimal service and value for business needs for both organizations.
• Provide training to employees on cybersecurity best practices, troubleshoot issues, and offer technical support when needed, fostering a culture of security awareness across both companies
