In this senior role, you will leverage your expertise in embedded C development to design and optimize firmware that powers next-generation IoT devices. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in creating robust, high-performance embedded systems tailored for innovative, connected electrical solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers, leading development efforts from design through integration.
This role is perfect for an experienced embedded engineer passionate about developing reliable, scalable code in C, who is excited to contribute to the future of IoT in a senior capacity.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded C firmware development.
- Deep understanding of microcontroller-based systems and real-time embedded design.
- Proficiency in communication protocols, including I2C, SPI, UART, and IoT-specific protocols like Wi-Fi, BLE, and MQTT.
- Proven experience in debugging, optimizing, and troubleshooting embedded systems.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS) and multi-threaded application development.
- Expertise in low-power design and energy-efficient firmware for IoT applications.
- Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms and device lifecycle management.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
