Job Description An enterprise energy analytics company is hiring a Software Architect to their team. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for rearchitecting legacy applications and redesigning them into modern microservices based applications. The role is hybrid to Chelmsford, MA, and is a 6-month contract to hire. The company is a billion-dollar corporation that specializes in energy analytics. You’ll be joining a customer facing team and work on rearchitecting a legacy Java based application into modern C#/.NET Core in an Azure hosted environment. Ideal candidates are skilled architects with event driven architecture experience. Required Skills & Experience
- Highly skilled in C# and .NET Core
- Highly skilled in Azure technologies, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, etc.
- Understanding of Kubernetes
- Exposure to GraphQL or gRPC
- Experience working in the Energy Industry
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Degree in a related field
- Strong technical skills
- 80% Architecture
- 20% Coding
