A leading robotics company based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer focused on product safety and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of advanced robotic systems. Leveraging your experience in safety analysis and compliance, you will guide the design and development process to ensure all systems meet industry standards and regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a systems engineer with deep expertise in safety assessments such as HARA and DFMEA, and experience with tools like JAMA. Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on product safety and compliance.

Proficiency in HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

Experience with FMEA and working with JAMA for safety and compliance tracking.

Strong background in robotics, including safety regulations and standards.

Familiarity with industry safety and compliance standards, ensuring products meet regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with system-level design reviews, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Knowledge of the full product lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring safety and compliance are integrated at every step.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and provide actionable solutions.

Experience with global safety certifications for robotics products.
