REQUIRED - Transportation Management System (TMS) experience.
Atlanta based Supply Chain and Logistics tech firm seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their dynamic and growing team! The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between clients and the development team, ensuring that their flagship TMS software solutions meet client needs and industry standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity working hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their transportation management needs and objectives.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and workflows related to transportation and logistics.
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Assist in designing solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, development teams, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop test plans and ensure features meet acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance our software offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Logistics or similar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in SW Development environment
- Industry experience in transportation (Truck, Rail and Ocean), logistics, or supply chain industry.
- Understanding of transportation management processes and logistics operations and TMS systems and software
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with data analysis tools is a plus
- API experience is a plus
