A leading non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable energy solutions and promoting energy equity is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to the team. Their mission is to ensure that every community has access to affordable, reliable, and clean energy. They collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and community organizations, to drive impactful energy projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on risk management planning and stakeholder engagement. Experience in the energy sector, particularly within government or electrical fields, is highly preferred. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
This is a hybrid onsite role in Northern Virginia. You will be working a max of 30 hours per week. There is potential for this to increase in the future.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong experience in risk management planning and the ability to navigate complex project landscapes.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including dashboard creation and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
